On July 21, 2016, top 30 contestants of the 15th Chinese Bridge—Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students visit “P8 Planet” of Broad Town to start an interesting cultural trip.  

 

The contestants were divided into three groups to learn to make chopsticks, dumplings and dye cloth respectively from craftsmen.

A carpenter illustrates and demonstrates the craftsmanship of making chopsticks, and explains the meaning of “four virtues of gentleman” associated with chopsticks to contestants.

Contestants from Group C are tie-dyeing cloth by means of stabbing, sewing, and binding with yarn, thread and rope.
