On December 13, youth volunteers from University of South China in Hunan commemorated the martyrs of “Hengyang Protection Battle” before the memorial tablet. The battle in Hengyang City of Hunan Province was the longest defense of a single city of the entire Anti-Japanese War with most soldiers’ casualties on the both sides.
