Over thirty cross-Strait experts and scholars gathered in Hunan's Dongkou County and attended the symposium on Xuefeng Mountain Anti-Japanese War from September 3 to 5, to memorize the history, commemorate martyrs, and review era significance of the victory of Chinese people’s victory of resistance war against Japanese aggression.

　　Experts conducted a field survey of the significant Anti-Japanese War sites in Dongkou County, visited Cai'e Mansion, Yang Family's Ancestral Hall and Zeng Family's Ancestral Temple, and witnessed wall slogans and stone inscriptions to fight against Japanese including "Lecture by Premier Sun Yat-sen" and "Spirit of Whampoa Military Academy and Soul of Soldiers".

　　According to Luo Xianming, an expert from China Anti-Japanese Culture Fund, great efforts should be exerted to actively promote construction of the main battlefield site museum of Xuefeng Mountain Anti-Japanese War and remember those who sacrificed their lives for our country.

　　Qiu Zhixian, president of Taiwan Alumni Association of Descendants of Whampoa Military Academy and an expert in the research on history of Chinese Anti-Japanese War, hoped that mainland China and Taiwan would intensify Anti-Japanese War research and integrate international resources in terms of various categories and from perspectives of science, technology and history, so as to promote mutual development and push forward cross-Strait relationship.
