Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Director of the Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Xu Shousheng gave instructions on two important proposals, and required related departments to study and adopt ideas concerned, said the Secretariat of the Fourth Session of the 11th CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee on Jan. 24, 2016.

The two proposals are: Suggestions on Guaranteeing Punctual Completion of Poverty Alleviation Targets, submitted by the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Jiusan (Sept. 3rd) Society; and Striving to Promote the Construction of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan National Self-dependent Innovation Demonstration Zone via Taking Innovative Management of Intellectual Property as A Breakthrough Point, by the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Zhigong Party of China.

Secretary Xu remarked that Jiusan Society’s four suggestions on poverty alleviation not only raised major concerns but also constructive measures. The Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development of Hunan Province and related organs should study the proposal, mobilize all resources, and adopt targeted measures, to help people get rid of poverty and become better off, he added.

As for the proposal of Zhigong Party on innovative management and protection of intellectual property, Mr. Xu thought it was well-directed and also universal. He asked the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Department and Hunan Intellectual Property Bureau to give thorough consideration to the four suggestions, to create sound internal and external environment, and help more intellectual property transfer to practical prolificacy, so as to contribute more to building a moderately well-off society in an all-around way.
