The workshop on "Lei Feng in 1958", a long reportage, was held in Memorial Hall of Lei Feng in Wangcheng District, Changsha City, on March 1, 2015.

　　The reportage, created by He Yuhong who was a native of Lei Feng's hometown--Wangcheng, was published in September last year. During a private survey of Wangcheng, the writer got acquainted with some old colleagues of Lei Feng when he reclaimed land in Tuanshanhu Farm. From them, she learned many untold stories of Lei Feng and hence decided to write a book about his work, study, and life during that period. She spent one year completing the book with the help of the locals. The reportage, in a simple but passionate style, reproduces work, study, and life of 18-year-old Lei Feng in Tuanshanhu Farm and showcased his nobleness in multiple ordinary stories.
