After the Fourth Session of the Twelfth Hunan Provincial People's Congress, the Hunan Provincial People's Government held the Fifth Plenary Meeting to implement the vision of Hunan Provincial NPC (National People's Congress) and CPPCC (Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference) sessions (Two Sessions) at noon on February 1. The Report on the Work of the Hunan Provincial People's Government in 2015 was also laid out at the session. Governor of Hunan Province Du Jiahao stressed on action oriented principles, thorough implementation of the work report, and focusing on implementation. He also put forward requirements to perform each work at the beginning of 2015 to make a good start.

　　Du said that guided by the essence of important speeches of President Xi Jinping, the Two Sessions set forth the major targets this year. He required each department to grasp the new opportunities under new normal, adjust work ideas and methods, and expedite economic growth based on the driving effect of innovation, industrial upgradation, ecological enhancement, and improvement of people's livelihood, and social harmony.

　　Du emphasized the careful organization of agricultural production in winter and spring, and implementation of good projects. He also stressed on safe production in transportation in Spring Festival rush, festivals and meetings, and fireworks and firecrackers and other key sectors and links, enrichment of people's material and cultural life, and proper arrangement of poor people's life.
